Therapy for Young Adults

I specialize in working with mature teens and young adults navigating issues such as:

  • Identity development and self-esteem

  • Friendships and relationships

  • School or work stress

  • Sexuality and self-expression

  • Family conflict and individuation

Young adulthood — roughly ages 17 to 30 — is a period of tremendous growth and transition. It’s a time for discovering who you are and developing independence from your family of origin. This process can be exciting, but it often comes with stress, confusion, and uncertainty.

During this stage, you may be balancing academic or career pressures, family expectations, and social relationships while trying to define your own values and direction. Therapy can help make this transition smoother and more intentional.

I support teens and young adults in clarifying what matters most, navigating evolving relationships, setting boundaries, and building confidence. My approach is supportive, nonjudgmental, and thoughtful, offering space for honest reflection and genuine connection.

Together, we’ll explore the roots of your challenges, uncover repeating patterns, and find new ways of approaching adulthood that align with your goals and values. I’ll invite you to express yourself freely and provide feedback that helps you move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
