Anxiety and depression can present in many different ways, and are often two sides of the same coin. Perhaps you are struggling with low self-esteem, find it difficult to speak your mind, or set boundaries in your life. Maybe you’re having trouble finding meaning in your life. Anxiety and depression can feel debilitating, making it hard to show up fully at work, in relationships, or even with ourselves.
You might feel unheard, battle imposter syndrome or low confidence, and experience unfulfilling relationships. Daily responsibilities at work, school, or home may feel overwhelming and insurmountable, which is a common contributor to anxiety and depression.
Treating the symptoms of anxiety and depression involves starting at the root of the problem. We will work together to understand the early messages you received from significant people in your life, your deep-rooted beliefs about yourself, and how you might be getting in your own way. Together, we will help you see your situation more clearly and learn to take your own needs seriously.
I strive to create a space where you can say the unsayable, or put words to feelings that may seem impossible to acknowledge. By making space for all the complexities of the human experience, you will begin to feel more in alignment with yourself and your values. Over time, you will begin to trust yourself, take up your own authority, and set appropriate boundaries with others in your life. As a result, your symptoms of anxiety and depression will lessen, and you will begin to experience life more fully.
