Susanna Yudkin
MSW, LICSW, MFTC

My therapeutic approach is insight-oriented, relational, and collaborative. I work with adults, couples, and adolescents to create meaningful change. Together, we’ll take the time to get to the heart of your story and uncover the patterns that keep you stuck, helping you live a more examined and fulfilling life. I specialize in relationship issues, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, life transitions, and self-esteem.

I draw on psychodynamic theory to explore how unconscious patterns may interfere with your life and relationships. I believe lasting change happens within a supportive and honest relationship, and I encourage clients to explore what’s unfolding in the here-and-now of each session as part of the healing process. Clients describe me as caring, thoughtful, and a good listener. I also use humor when appropriate, and hope therapy feels not only meaningful and productive, but also positive and engaging. In our work, I’ll gently challenge you to say the unsayable, move beyond your stuck points, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others.

I help couples uncover unhelpful patterns, communicate more effectively, and reconnect on a deeper emotional level. My style is direct, compassionate, and practical, helping each partner express vulnerability, understand their impact, and make lasting changes in how they relate. Many of the couples I work with feel stuck repeating the same cycles of disconnection or conflict. Together, we examine those patterns, foster emotional vulnerability, and create the conditions for renewed intimacy and relationship satisfaction.
